Silver Lining To A Storm Cloud

Silver Lining To A Storm Cloud

Hi Guys,

Long time no chat! Due to personal reasons i have had to scale my collection way down to just my three Burms and my one big Bosch Monitor. Well I hope all of you guys have had a better time than me these last few months. I do have one good thing to say though. . .last night a friend of mine came to pick up a cage, i had given up trying to breed with all that was going one and was just going to keep a few close pets, anyways he needed a cage in a hurry so i told him i have a spare but he can take one of my burm cages and ill put them together until i put heating pads in another one. I put my two burms together and walked out the room. . .later that evening while showing my friend what was left of my collection he alerted my to the fact that my male albino was showing interest in my female Labytinth. I came in every few hours to check on them and the interest grew with each hour! Well today at lunch time i thought i would snap a few pics and this is what i got. . .

Looks like it's true. . .every cloud has a silver lining, hopefully she will give in and i will get a nice clutch of Double Het Albino Labyrinth Burms. Anyone else having luck with Burms?

Thanks,
Jeff

Thats great news. The het babies will also look different to normal het albinos because the labyrinth does seem to show up in the het form. Lets hold thumbs for a nice big clutch.

Hi Guys,

The female defecated yesterday so i cleaned the cage and ever since then he hasn't shown interest in here again. Must i move them to a different cage or seperate them and put them together in a few days or just leave them? I don't want to mess this up.

Thanks,
Jeff

Just leave them. He may show interest again but I have a sneaky suspicion you might have been too late this time. Once the male eats again you can remove him in any case.

Hi jeff.
Might be working on the retics (trying something differant....) but we will see.
Burms had a go, but female got bogged down with RI, medding her now, so not too concerned with if she is knocked up or not...time will tell...
Have a good weekend man!
