Feeding Burms

Feeding Burms

Postby funkybluemonkey » Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:10 am

My friend purchased a burm a few days ago, he asked me if it was ok to feed it frozen(and thawed) chickens. I'm not sure about this as i only have corns. Could someone please give me an answer.

Thanks

You can feed defrosted chickens but it is not a very good diet. All the internal organs which have the nutrients and vitamins which the snake needs have been removed.

If the snake does eat that then buy chickens from the farm and ask them just to slaughter and pluck it. That can be frozen and defrosted as required then.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
