Bleeding pits

Hi all.

My mates burm is having a problem with her pits on her face... They are very pink and it almost seems as if they are bleeding. She is about a year and a half old and he keeps her in his flat at varsity. Unfortunately people smoke in the flat and being a student flat, its quite small. She puts her whole face underwater and also rubs her nose on the astroturf in her cage..

Any thoughts on whats wrong?? Possible infection??

Smoke, solution move her out, or smoke outside. Smoke is very irritating to most animals, especially if its a small space.

Look for mites and check temperatures.

My mate has started smoking outside and shes doing much better.

Cigarettes should be as illegal as narcotics. It's way too lucrative for anybody to put an end to it though.
