What to do?

I've just put together a 2mx1mx700mm tank and I want to know what I can use as a cheep substrate other then news paper and astroturf for my Burmese PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

i use that popcorn stuff, easy to clean as it clumps up where they defecate, looks attractive, i just make sure i dont feed on it .

although the astro and newspaper i suppose still the best.

Read the thread "Experiment" where the ins and outs of Eucalyptus mulch is discussed. I have been using that for a while now and think it is magic stuff. It is cheap and with a bit of care regarding feeding and cleaning the water bowl it does seem to be a very good option.
