Yes that is a good price.

This makes no sense to me as I am personal friends with that "vendor". He prides himself on quality, and his facilities are of excellent quality. He is one of the most knowledgable people I know regarding reptiles. And husbandry of any reptile. I will make a few enquiries, and be in contact with you guys!

This is very dissapointing, not that I dont believe you but I have personally purchased over R 20 000 at him. With no problems. And I think he would really appreciate the feedback. I will be in contact. P.M me some more details on the snakes purchased pleased.

Usually if a snake dies the same day there are other factors involved. Nobody will sell a snake that is going to be so sick that it will die within hours. That should have been taken up with the vendor at the time because that is not normal.

We have had people bring back snakes that had died and just happened to mention that they had gone shopping on the way home and locked the snake in the car where the temps went up to 48 degrees. They were asked to leave the expo and were not allowed to purchase another snake that day!

Elleria the price was really resonable and if you still have the snake and it is doing well then it was a good price. The venue was really cold and draughty and as a result any snakes kept there over that period did stand a chance of getting sick. You cannot blame the vendors for that. That is the reason I did not buy anything there.

It is strange to have those snakes sell so cheaply. My personal opinion was that there may be something wrong with them, thus why they were going for that cheap.

Good luck with her though.
