iv jsut been offered a (what he calls) dwarf sungazer.. now i read above you saying no such thing, im real confused, why cant they just give these lizards one name not can be called girdled or whatever.. heres a picture if anyone can ID this poor lizard id be so appreciative.. cheers

dont ask me what the black substrate is.. i haven't got him or her yet..

He looks like Tropidosternum, but I can't to scale him with any objects to distinguish size.

I must agree with Aluston... If it is cordylus cataphractus (armadillo lizard) then that enclosure is COMPLETELY wrong!!

I used to get irriatated with guys on this forum using scientific/latin names but I have started to see the light. Specially with a species like this where there are quite a few species within the cordylus family that look similar.

And as said Buck Rogers, the name Dwarf Sungazer is wrong. He called Armadillo Girdled Lizard.
