Hi Andy

Welcome to the forum.

That lizard is most likely Trachylepis sparsa, common name Karasburg Tree Skink.

If you have any other interesting finds, please do share with us.

And thank you, Wesley for confirming the ids.
Just out of interest, http://www.birdforum.net is an english speaking forum which not only covers birds, but also has subforums on just about anything living including reptiles and amphibians, some of which are found in Southern Africa. If you are interested, we don't have many specialists from your part of the world and it would be excellent if you could help with some of the queries.

Best Regards,

Andy
