Which Gender Makes The Better Pet?

I've had Royal males either being sweet as a puppy or mean as the devil, same for a few females that I've had/worked with. It doesn't depend on the sex, nor the species, but the individual snake itself.

If you look at it from another angle; males are quite notorious for going through long periods of fasting if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if females really go through that ?

If you just want a pet it makes far more sense to buy a male. Males are much cheaper and even morphs are not that expensive compared to females. I have had males and females become aggressive (especially albinos, I hate those) however that is not the norm. You can quite easily find a sub adult or even an adult male and then you will be able to see the temperament.

I have a female that was a sweet baby till i tried to start feeding her frozen thawed instead of life. From thereon she is as mean as can be she literally strike at you every chance she gets.
