Eating each other?

Eating each other?

Postby Ales » Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:06 pm

I dont know if some of you remember my post about a week ago about thet BHS that the builders found.
Yesterday they founds another one but its about 10cm smaller.
They were in the same cage and when i got home today it was gone, and the bigger one is a little bit fatter, but not a big lump.
Would the big one have eaten the smaller one?
Thanks
What a world....

Most snakes can be cannibalistic if the need arises. In an IDEAL world keeping snakes separate is best.
As snakes will and HAVE consumed cage mates.

First check there is no way the snake could have escaped. But from the sounds of it the other House snake had a meal.
Organized crime comes in more forms than one.

The small snakes can some times squeeze between the 2 panes of glass, that might be how this one got out.
You can stick a piece of news paper in the gap between the glass.
Glad you found it and it was not eaten.
