Stunning Albino House snakes

I'm not personally into morphs and albinism but these do it for me.
I really love the colour of these guys.

Can't understand why no many people keep these.

Very pretty Fooble!

That female is a real gem! Gorgeous.

I feel BHS will "expolde" in the next few years as soon as all one or two more morphs get established.

Awesome snakes. I had a wild caught that had a full stripe all the way down its body. I am looking into getting some housies does anyone know where I can get some albinos and any other morphs? I really hope that the BHS market explodes would be amazing to see what morphs will be possible!! Especially when you look at how far ball pythons have come
There is no such thing as I can't

A good friend of mine has given me the the priveledge of adopting most of his house snake collection :) I want to branch out with them and see what I can come up with. He has given me his Yellow Het ghosts, that he bred out. I want to try Red x Ghosts. I just want two more bloodlines... Lineatus browns and albinos. I am going two put my Yellow het ghost with my male ghost when she is big enough. Which (if history will repeat itself) should throw out some speckled ghosts :D

Nice. I love the house snake morphs too. Recently joined Erik and Niki's UK house snake forum to see all the morphs.
I like these albinos.

What "lineatus" are you referring to?

From what I know they used to be reffered to as Lamprophis lineatus.... I may be wrong. But they have a very striking pure white stripe running down the sides of the body, they dont get very big either.

here is an example from google :D ...

Oh i see, those are non native to Southern Africa i wouldn't want to try breed those into our native "house snakes"

You would be better off getting some of these :

Those must be from Namaqualand hey Fooble?

I have found them and the typical mentalis on the same stretch of road in a single night.

I think you are correct Wes, they were never my snakes but in KZN most of the stuff is illegally collected then dumped here for resale.

There must be a few around in captivity though?

These ones are from the Namaqualand area, Ive only ever seen them with that stripe from the SB area.
Very interesting that you see these ones and the 'mentalis' occuring in the same area.

Thanx Fooble :) I'll keep that in mind when breeding. The only true lineatus I have seen are from Tanzania.
