Is it okay to keep two female house snakes together?

Hi there, just want to make sure whether it is safe to keep two adult female brown e snakes together in the same enclosure. Will they attack one another or get along???

IMO, Not much should happen. But I try to keep my snakes separately just to be on the safe side.

I've always read that its okay to keep females together but to keep males apart. Was just asking to make sure. Better safe than sorry

As far as I'm aware, not many snake species have fatal male combat. I've heard of Reticulated Pythons being an example of that. That generally seems to apply to geckos and lizards though.

I've read that the corn snakes may get nippy with each other, but I have a male and female together. I've never tried to keep two males together though. Will put the females together for a trial period. If all goes well then they can stay together, if not will make other arrangements. Thanks for the help

I have kept female house snakes together wihout a problem, just seperate them for feeding.

Yes that I think is a given. Always seperate any snakes at feeding time. But thanks for your info as well. I just want to make sure that they do not hurt one another

females are no problem together. The problem with males is that they can technically "rape" each other. The male that gets raped dies.

I also keep my females together without any problem. They even stay in the same hide

I've had that happen once, both males are alive and kept far away from one another.

When males "fight" they usually fighting over territory and the looser must leave. So having 2 males in one confined enclosure will become a problem. If possible I will keep all reptiles in their own enclosure.

That's just my opinion.
