Snouted /moz sitter?

Nope... Mozambique spitting cobra... a rather deceased one by the look of it...

Interesting: elderly gentleman stepped out his front door and onto this snake. It promptly delivered a bite to the dorsum of his fiit, then sought refuge in the house. Symptoms were moderate to severe swelling, excruciating burning pain, vomiting immediately after the bite. No blistering, no necrosis. "Prophylactic fasciotomy" done, swelling began to subside and patient was discharged on day 5. Remained severe. Interesting in that it seemed only one fang penetrated, the other only scratched. From the puncture site, a slow trickle of blood for about 2 days suggesting a local coagulopathy. Perhaps this was only a mild envenomation.

Well that was better than a prophylactic amputation. Where do they find these doctors. If he pulled through with zero antivenom how bad could the swelling have been and what did the fasciotomy help?
Is there any chance that we could get photos or more details of the treatment?
