Ooh, nice! Definitely one of my favourite species!
One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.

Interesting, now since Puff Adders occur through most of Africa, do you need keeping permits for those that don't occur in SA, for example, those found in Kenya or wherever?

Yip the species is protected so you require permits for the species. Usually they dont allow the import of species which are indigenous because of the possibility of genetic contamination.

Stunning Deon!
You know, you can touch a stick of dynamite, but if you touch a venomous snake it’ll turn around and bite you and kill you so fast it’s not even funny.
