Puff adder research in central Namibia

Postby bitis s2 » Mon May 06, 2013 6:50 pm

Hi all

As some of you are aware I am starting a study of the spatial ecology of puffies and the use of translocation as a snake-human conflict mitigation management tool. I am having extreme difficulties in acquiring clear plastic tubes for 'tubing' the puffies to make safe body measurements in the field (svl, ventral/sub-caudal scale counts etc). Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some of varying diameters; even if it's in SA and I can get them shipped here somehow.

Appreciate any help anybody can give me on this.

Regards

Stu

Yip there is a guy called Phillip van Heerden who has some in stock at the moment. I will get you his details.
