From the range and the physical appearance of the Baboon Spiders I would say this species is Harpactira hamiltoni
2:2 Pseudaspis cana
1:2 Dasypeltis scabra

And yes they are all on permit.

Looks like a common baboon spider, it also looks like its nearing molt, which means they will not eat. I would say place it back into the wild. Near a stream of some kind. The Hamiltomi(species) require moisture for it to mold successfully. To put them back in the wild as close to where you've found it is the best option. there will be more of them in that area. i would also not place the baby and the mother together, as the mother could eat the baby when stressed etc. They are known for being solitary creatures. This common baboon is almost fully grown and is illegal to keep. Tarantulas in general outside Gauteng is illegal to keep.
