Scorpion ID please

Is anyone able to accurately identify this little guy?
We are on a steep hillside in Randburg, Gauteng. These little guys kept appearing in our bathroom during October to December. They vary a bit in colour (some lighter and more yellowish) but all look very like this one and they are around 30-40 mm long.
The house is high up at that point so they are either climbing up the facebrick wall and in the window or up through a drain. When we find them they are usually stationary on the bathroom floor and stay like that for ages whilst we are looking closely at them. When we try to collect into a jar to put outside they can run very fast.
This particular one was found outside. It had drowned in the pool.

I'm no scorpion pro, but that looks like Pseudolychas pegleri (Scorpions have no common names apparently which is a bit weird).

I wouldn't worry too much about them being around the house.

Agree with Westley.
Sting burns like crazy, but not life threatening at all.
