Platyoides sp are not significantly venomous to humans and have no medical importance. They are not rare, but their crepuscular nature and habits of living in tight dark spaces means they are not seen very often. I assume they eat whatever insects and other arthropods they come into contact with, being opportunistic like most arachnids.
