Dasypeltis inornata Eating from Hand

Well, a good friend asked to see a video of my larger Southern Brown Egg eater eating a chicken egg, and thought I'd put it up here for others as well. Sadly, my camera died half way, but it took the snake around 5-10 minutes from starting to swallow, right until it regurged the remaining shell. I often wonder what we would look like if we had to do this sort of thing in order to eat... Would make dinner dates a hang of a lot more interesting...

That is one beast of an Eggie to make such short work of that egg!
