Cottonmouth viper

I've got a question with regard to sexing cottonmouth vipers.
Is it possible to sex these snakes by the shape of their tail,
this is of course not in babies, and if you've got multiple specimen to do this with.
The reason I'm asking is because of the fact that some ppl
say you can sex most terestrial vipers by the shape of the tail.

You can sex most species of snake by the shape of the tail if you have enough specimen to compare, terrestrial vipers are just much easier.

Have a look at this topic:

Male has long slander tail and female, short tapering tail.

Note that I have no experience with this particular species and I'm just going on my own observations and general knowledge.
