New incubation method...

Hey I would like to know has there been any success with chameleon eggs with these?
Do you heat the container with like a heating pad under it or what? How large is it.

How much do they cost?

With chameleons I use the homemade incubator method, its a fishtank with polystyrene around it to keep the temps fine.
Then the egg container sits on bricks in the tank. The tank is filled with water and you put an aquarium heater in it to keep the temps in the 26C range. In the container I use vermicultie, I wet it enough so that when I squeeze a hand full only 1 or 2 drops of water drip out.

So would it work for chameleons, but not just veileds, I specificly want to know if it will work for panthers?

Thanks

I was lucky enough to see and handle a SIM tub in Daytona US, when I went to the expo with friends in 2009. I dont have one myself but made my own on the same principles and I have had success hatching out Ball pythons, egg eaters and bearded dragons. I found it reduced the instances of mould forming on the eggs and now thats how I incubate all of my eggs. Good work Gregg!

Very nice. This method has been around for some time now, but great to see a purpose made container designed for this incubation method.

I built an incubator last week for my upcoming ball python eggs (hopefully) and designed my incubation tubs with the exact same principle. A grid that sits on top of the medium (vermiculite in my case). Zero contact between the medium and the eggs so you have have the medium with a lot of water in it, which should make it easier to keep humidity up high.

What size do these tubs come in?
