Waterproof your heatpads...

Waterproof your heatpads...

Has anyone tried to waterproof the ordinary silver heatpads.

It it possible to laminate them?
If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids won't walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!”

I'm not sure if that would be a good idea because some plastics release toxic chemicals when they are heated . I'm sure someone will be able to help you a little bit better than me :)

Take them and stick them to the underside of a ceramic tile. That way you can discard them as and when you wish. They are not 100% waterproof but the cage should never be that wet anyway. You can wipe them down without a problem. The ones with the heat foil are meant for the inside of fridges so they are pretty close to waterproof anyway.
