The atra is especially nice. Do you have a problem pairing them up because they cannot all be commonly kept?

Thanks! My pair is 2,5 years old so I did not put them together yet. However, their cages are next to eachother and when they see eachother they start to hood and make a lot of noise. I worked with black/white atra's as well and they were/are exactly the same to eachother. Always hissing and hooding. BUT we put them together 2 months ago (the're from a friend of mine) and put some newspaper before the glass and they do allright together now. But every time we put them together is like a little warzone and no eggs untill now. I will try this pair next year.

Funny, atra's are almost always like this, I wonder why. Maybe to make up for being a little shorter than most Naja's.

Wow - you have a nice elapid collection. Thanks for sharing.

How do the samarensis do with you? I heard they can be sensitive and die easy?

If you get "good" and healthy animals I don´t think that you´ll have more or less problems with them.
They are not more sensivite as other cobras. It´s easy to keep them BUT they are VERY aggressive and very fast.
