These people have spoken to me on numerous occasions now. They are about 40 km north of me and had one snake a month for three months and now have found two hatchling heralds in two days. They built this place in the middle of pristine bush and wonder where the snakes come from.
I have offered to go and remove the snakes they find but cannot ride out 80km for nothing so I spoke to them and said if I do not find the snake they say they saw I will charge them R300. Then the snakes was suddenly seen two days ago by someone walking past the place.
I have offered to train the security guards to remove the snakes but have not had any feedback from them. It does not make sense to expect me to rush out there every time they think they saw a snake when they are not prepared to do anything about it from their side.
Maybe I should sell them snake repellant? Give them a money back deal unless it rains which they will then have to put down more of my product.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.
