Just a question with the mesh on your cage aren't the spaces in there quite large?
I mean so like any food items can escape?

Hi there Fooble,

The Mesh I am using is 13x13mm. Yes food can get out but I feed my animals by hand and the worms I put in a tub for them.

Thank you for all the comments. I just love them to bits. I will be getting two more in the next couple of weeks and maybe my first pair of Panthers. I am so excited.

I will try and get photos of my whole setup tonight and post them

Hi there peeps I finally took pictures of the cages.

I have all the cages set up for the chameleons but i only have 4 at the moment I am struggling to get more.

This is the combined cage and all the cages have mesh on the sides and front and top. For airflow i just open a window on both sides of the cage and Voila!

if your chameleons can see each other, they can get stressed...

Hi there Donatello,

I know they can stress, if you provide them with all they need why do they need to stress?

Well they look very relaxed and happy to me.

No signs of stress!

If by some miracle I do pick up that they are stressing I have made screens that slides in between the cages so they can not see each other. Trust me I did my research before I got them.

Thank you for letting me know anyway!

Hi there Steve,

Yes I build it myself. It took me two weekends and about one week every evening and a lot of hard work and painting.

I first build the cage and then did the frame to cover all the lights and wires all i still need to do is provide them with more light like a normal florescent tube maybe. Last weekend I saw one that is 3m long i think it will work perfect for them. O yes then i just need to get two more Veiled Chameleon and I am set.

Donatello,

Where are you getting a panther from and if i may ask what are you paying for it? I want to get a pair 2!

asmit....HA, these are my real initials and surname(bit of useless info) ANYWAY, I want to cry when I see how beautiful and healthy and perfect your male is.... Im only really starting to realise now that my boy definately was not healthy right from the start. I don't blame the pet shop owner, he is great with all his animals and I trust him but I think this boy was depleted of UV and calcium from whom ever owned him first, as he was already fairly large when he got him. Oh well, lets hope I can get him back to good health cos it kills me seeing him like this. Well done on your Chams being so stunning.
