Green Water snake - Nelspruit

Alright, this is not to make BS jealous ( I know he has been searching for a long time to find one) but I just thought I would share it with you.

The pic was taken with my Kodak digital camera(not SLR)

May not be the intention... but you still succeeded! Great shot though. This one is brilliant (and I prefer it to the other one you sent me).

Thanks..

I must say that this Kodak Z1012 IS takes pretty neat photos.. In some circumstances even better than a SLR and the kit lens.. Although I'm sure a SLR and a prime or any other good lens wll be much better..

The only difference is that SLR is very user friendly(to me atleast) and much faster.. And the autofocus on these little cameras is a pain in the butt..

Not an easy snake to get a nice coiled full body shot of, did you set it up or just found it hanging like that?

I just squeezed the snake in to a ball and put in the bush.. I generally tire out reptiles before I photograph them - makes it much easier!
