2, no clue,
5 is not Bitis but can't find name now, from middle east I think.

Hmmm, never seen a fields horned viper that colour before. But you could very well be right

marc bt they have far too many common names and this could lead to confusion. The scientific names are appropriate in this case.

#1. Nose horned viper
#2. Fea's white headed viper
#3. Hairy bush viper
#4. ethiopian mountain adder
#5. Fields horned viper

Pseudocerastes are usually know as false-horned vipers (3 species)

The most recent being the spider-tailed false-horned viper . Psuedocerastes arachnoides

yeah i know :)

@serpy: abit off the topic but i noticed on facebook that you have already put your b.caudalis's together and they locked up. what did you do to get the conditions right for them to mate? i thought it was too early for them to mate.

Well i've seen a few gravid female caudalis usually around 4 months from now, so i worked it back and put them together now. The localities I have usually mate now in anyway. When I had my western diamondbacks they mated during winter too.
