These are some pictures that I have been lucky enough to capture whilst out in the bush...

Boomslang
Picture date: 4 February 2009
Time: Between 16:00 and 16:30
Weather: Warm (+-26 degrees)
Where: Seaview, Port Elizabeth

Puffadder
Picture date:22 February 2009
Time: Between 06:30 and 07:00
Weather: Mild (roughly just below 20 degrees)
Where: Addo Elephant National Park (main road between Spekboom hide and Marion Baree Dam)

Temperature data is always interesting. The problem is you need a huge amount of this data to come to any conclusions, so every record that is accompanied by temperature data helps! Thanks for posting!

Temperature air/ground. relative humidity, cloud cover, all go together.

Everything is perfect in SD at the moment, we are running like crazy! Most common are boomslang & spitters with a sprinkling of mambas, natal greens and spotted bush. Special finds have been mole snake (we have only ever been called for 2) and a massive snouted night adder.
