These little chaps were born and bred at a little reptile park in Edenvale. I was looking after the parents, and had been for about a year, when they bred. The female dropped 28 babies.
And now:
The male pictured holds a special place in my heart.
He was very small when he was born and could barely make it out of his sac. In the process of trying to break free, he swallowed a lot of fluid. I cut him out of the sac but he was more dead than alive and was gasping for air. I grabbed him by the tail and ran my finger down his body. Loads of fluid came out his mouth but he still was'nt moving much. I raised the middle of his body hoping that more fluid would drain out. About 2 hours later he started moving around.
End result: He was the first to shed, first to eat and grew a hell of a lot faster than his brothers and sisters.
