Atomic worm [Bitis caudalis]

Postby Copperbob » Thu Sep 03, 2009 8:05 pm

My newest acquisition. I got this little fellow recently and thought I may have feeding problems. It did not like the tub, so I moved it into a more open air cage and it ate a little pink today like an animal. It didnt even flick its tongue, it just bit and swallowed in less then 5mins.

The setup. My experience with dwarf bitis is rather limited, so any constructive criticism is welcome :D

I like the colour substrate you chose Bob, nice one. He looks very nice in there.
I dont see a problem with your cage.

Stunning little guy. Are the horns from creatures and critters normally that colour? Most of the others I've seen from them have seemed to be more grey. Cant wait till I get some of these in my collection.
