Bitis armata

Postby Westley Price » Tue Sep 08, 2009 9:21 am

Hi guys

I was asked by the owner to post these pics of a captive born pair of Bitis armata.

I saw these with my own eyes and they are awesome to say the least. The one had a nice bit of orange colour on it.

As always, pics do not do them justice.

Why do pics always have the right hand side cut off for me?
I can only see the tail of the one snake.

Thanks for sharing Westley, whats his address? ;)

There seems to be a number of people working with these abroad and locally. CB animals nogals. They seem to be getting more available which should bring down prices and pressure on the wild populations.

Armata, the owner mentioned that the mother had come from an area where armata are not known to occur.

I have bred them but i did not post the pics or info here, I knew what the response would be!
