My Copperhead

My Copperhead

Postby Hustler » Mon Oct 19, 2009 10:07 pm

Well I picked this little guy up at the Exo-Terra expo. He's extremely aggro all the time lol even strikes at the tub whenever I go near it and getting him to pose for pictures is a miracle! Very quick little guy and always heads for the same cactus whenever I take him out. Oh and the substrate is the chunks from Exotic, really awesome stuff and doesn't have all the cr@p that the usual stuff has like plasctics and sticks and that stuff. Really good stuff :D .

Just love him and his little attitude. Oh and he tends to rattle his tail like mad lol sounds bloody loud for a snake that's not a rattlesnake.

I have a pair of copper heads, they are fiesty eaters and gives me very little grief, they are exellent hots, only problem is that they tend to have shedding problems now and then, Little advise from me try to get a second person to help you out if needed.

Thanks for all the comments. I have no idea what locality it's from though. He's a brillian eater, never ever hesitates to go for his meal sometimes bites and holds on till the pinky dies then swallows it down. Warbot I actually don't know what sex it is haha it's just a habit I have to call it a he. But nonetheless I love the snake really is just too cute not to love! Paid R550 for him, I also noticed how all the prices were much higher than last year and they didn't have as many snakes also but they did have a wider variety of reps in general.

Awesome and that is not a bad price, the last pricing I got a Juv copper head was around R 750 - 800, it might have dropped since not sure.
But still they are one of my favorite as well!
nice buy ;)

And enjoy him/her hehe, I'm sure you will

Nice man I guess they dropped quite a bit then haha.

Definately will be enjoying this little cute devil.

Has anyone else ever bought the Exotic products? Just want to find out what everyone else thinks about the stuff.

Very nice Hustler! I used the same stuff for my copperheads and they seemed to do very well.
Good luck and in my opinion an awesome decision, the musking is not very nice though hehe.
