I would say yes it is a broad banded copperhead.I have collected a few over the years

The copperhead looks like a copper special, broadbanded x Northern, I have the exact problem at my place, I'm finding it difficult to trace a 100% blood line, all I find is the south african copperheads

I do think I see there is some discrepencies in banding.I wish import export was a little easyer .Then you guys would have some locality copperheads pure as wolfgang wuster allows after all he is trying to bust up the subs in to 2 and only 2.A western and an eastern latacintus and contortrix cramming osage ,broad band and pictigaster in to one hole.Any way nice snake.
