R.I.P Wilmien...

At one stage or the other, we all deal with a death. It is never nice losing a pet and thus, you can share your loss with the rest of us and share your memories so that they will be remembered.

R.I.P Wilmien...

I am totally devastated as I write this. My house snake that I got from Marcbt is dead. Found her this morning whilst I was changing out their water. I noticed that I didn't see her last night, but didn't make too much fuss of it. This morning I actually searched for her and found her dead in a corner of her cage. I don't know how this could have happened, she ignored a feeding on Sunday (the first time), but to end up dead is horrible! The irony is that NATCON phoned me this morning and said that her permits are ready... :(

Ive lost a snake before, but it was nowhere as bad as this?!?!?

This day is not starting good...

I'm so sorry for your loss.

@ Warbot: Jip, it was that one! She just had the really vivid markings on her back.

@ Insaniac: Had her for about three months only, but she was growing like crazy, came out of her hide when she sensed someone in the room and actually climbed into my hand when I held it out. She was the most tame of all my snakes and I've got a huge thing for house snakes! If it was one of my other snakes it would not have been as bad!

But thanx all for your kind words! I think all of us here have had some crappy moments in our hobby!
