Postby katesmith » Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:13 am

Hi all,

Question; Should i date a guy who owns 73 snakes and counting. Mostly venomous snakes... im worried. What does it say about him as a person? Really like him though, and i like snakes so i'll probably go for it regardless, but let me know what you think!

Hi Kate,

Welcome to the forum.

I think dating a guy who owns snakes would be the least of your worries. lol

Snakes do not change people's personalities. If it's something you have in common, it's even better.

Hey there Kate. Welcome to Sareptiles. lol no I really don't think you have to worry about him. Snakes don't change a person nor make them weird. They were probably weird before the snakes came   . If you also like snakes it's even better.

Possibly date the guy and then when he is really smitten you can donate all his snakes to us and then you can become his new hobby.

Welcome Katesmith. Glad you took the time to ask. Many people don't respect their partner's interests which makes things difficult. As far as snakes go, you don't have anything to worry about. As far as venomous goes, as long as he knows what he is doing and doesn't take chances. With 73 venomous, I would say he is very experienced and would be alot more comfortable with that than some guy with 1 or 2 venomous and who is new to the game called "safety".

Im happy i found someone with the same interests! and he isn't bad to look at either! ha. im going to register him at the site. He doesn't have PC internet. You guys should really enable the site for mobile. You'd have allot of new visitors! love your site its awesome, pity i can't get here more.!
