I see alot of fangs in the proses of shedding with the wild caught snakes. Still have one of the puffies fang. If you know where to look youl find some. Like B.V said. If you want Im sure I can keep them if I vind some again.

just thought i'd post a quick pic of some of the fangs i have collected from various snakes.
all are from live snakes, either in faeces or found lying in the cage, the largest ones are from b. rhinocerus and smallest from baby white lips and echis sp.
also from black mamba, various rattlers and puffies

Durban keeper in the three "cape" provinces even a dead snake is still protected. In the other provinces there are no problems.

That is correct, snakes shed their fangs just like they shed their skin. If one breaks off, a new one takes it's place just like with sharks.

fangs "shedding". I wonder what substance are the fangs then. More like horn or bone structure as the teeth of mammals.
