Now there is some balls :-) I would not do that, but each to his own. Nice animal.

In regards to live feeding, I have fed live corns to a king before. Don't really see anything wrong with it. At that point in their life they refused anything that was not alive.

So in between force feeding, a tasty corn was a treat. I would however be concerned with feeding live venomous for the safety of the king?

Are they immune to all venoms? or only those of snakes from their locality?

usualy i fed her with koros/pytas, sunbeam, or dendrophila but these day are very hard to find those but plenty of c.albolabris.
At once am worried feeding my king with vipers but i have to try it soon or later or she will have to suffer.
The only local species that i will not going to try its a n.sputatrix.
'King will not survive with sputatrix as live prey!' so dont feed them with cobras, said my friend who losed his king after being biten by sputatrix while king chew the body.
I was wondering what if i fed them with dead naja, will it be the same result?

My buddy tried feeding N. sputatrix and the king would not touch it. I am sure she will take dead food too. Try her because that way you can stuff the dead snake full of rats first and get a bigger meal down her throat.

King cobra are way to intelligent to just bite. They know when you are a threat and when not. Free handling them is not a good idea because if she is upset and does nip you the venom yield is massive. Not really worth the chance although I have also done it in the distant past. I have been told that over 60 percent of all king cobra bites are dry bites.
It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Those who are afraid to ask are ashamed of learning.

Hmmm interesting, but then how common are king bites? Do you think they realise it is pointless enjecting venom as the handler means no threat or is it just by chance?
a wiseman once said:"you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish and feed him for the rest of his life.."

i've try several time feed her or else with dead food..still no result until now...so i decide not to offer her dead, if she or he like live food so be it..i dont mind at all :)

Yes i've heard that to about the 60 percent of dry bite, but not make me feel free to handle all my king..this is the one that am sure will not bite even when provoke, cos i've done that she just ignored me :( but still i have to follow where she move especialy the head or she will open its mouth.
