Black-headed heron and harlequin

Black-headed heron and harlequin

Postby armata » Sat Nov 13, 2010 10:00 am

Just got back from Addo Nat Park and came across this heron preying on what I thought was a skaapsteker. Did not realise it was a harlequin until I cropped the image. Its a big harlequin, the heron measures a metre, so guess what the size of the harlequin is???
