Hey there
I found this little lady in the rafters of the Laundry
As you can see she had recently eaten (that morning 9th Feb) and was just chilling n digesting. The staff eventually wanted me to move her away as they were getting a bit too nervous, so I took her n put her in my shower so that she could digest in peace and then she could leave whenever she was ready.
This was quite a big meal, possibly nestling weaver or bat. The weavers are currently bringing up their youngsters at the moment.
Digestion took two days, and the excess could be seen building up close to the cloaca, when she left on the evening of the 12th Feb she left a large pile o excrement outside the window.
Interesting thing about this girl was that she never once hissed, struck or tried to bite when I removed her and when I would observe her in the shower, even when I used the shower, contrary to what is said in the literature that these guys are quite keen to strike when initially caught.
In case anyones wondering why I put her in the shower? So that she had time to digest in peace and for me to observe and she could then leave when she wanted to.
