Very nice little guy you have there. It looks like a real youngster? Where did you get him? Mine are busy hatching and I will put up some pics soon.

Thanks Man...

These were bred by a friend of mine. They hatched in Jan'11 so they are still tiny but growing fast !

I have noticed that people shy away from them for some reason ?I recon people think they are a real hasstle to keep but I find them very easy indeed ?

Louis.

They have the reputation for being aggressive due to wild caught imports but true captive bred bloods are most of the time a pleasure. They are easy but I wouldn't say a good beginner! More of an intermediate level snake. Some people just freak when they haven"t had a bowel movement for a while and go to extreme lengths when a little exercise will do. They also only shed 2-3 months after birth which is strange and they sometime treble their weight before shedding.

Ahhh, so jealous of you guys! Ive wanted one of these for years! I've only ever worked with them at a snake park and they are fantastic! I was told that they were not handled as they were aggressive, but with gentle persuasion and and the correct technique i found that even large aggro bloods can be handled happily as long as you dont move too quickly or startle them. But when i do get one i am going to make sure that he/she gets handled as often as possible as i like my snakes to be chilled and safe to hold :D
