New Male Cape Coral - Aspidelaps lubricus lubricus

Postby Qball » Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:53 am

Good (Monday :smt021 ) morning!
Got my male Cape Coral Snake (Aspidelaps lubricus lubricus) last week from Sly. Just thought I'd share some pictures of him in his new setup being full of attitude as usual... He wasn't crazy about the camera, but it made for some nice shots.
Definately one of my favourite indigenous species so hopefully once my female is up to size, they will give me some young ones.
Thanks again Sly!

Awesome looking snake. Definitely high up on my wishlist, for "one day"

Thanks guys!
They really are awesome little snakes to keep Fred. Always full of attitude and energy, so I'm just glad they don't get too big!

Hey Fooble. This little guy is about 35-40cm long now.
The female I have, has some broken/mishaped bands so I'm keen to see what is thrown out when she is eventually old enough to reproduce.
I wasn't quite happy with the setup so I'll be re-doing it tonight... Just need to go get more sand and bamboo roots just now. Once I'm done I'll be sure to post some pictures.

Hey Fooble
Here are the pics of the setup as promised. The first 4 pictures are of my males setup, and the last 3 are of my females setup. Just need to print a background for my males tank.
Cheers
