Please help ID snake from Borakalalo

The photos are not great at all, but the only ones I managed to take. This snake was very quick! He came past me right next to my feet, moved with speed, and disappeared in the reeds next to the river.
My first thought was Dwarf Whip snake, as the head pattern seems similar. But not so sure?

It was seen at Borakalalo National Park, today. (Bora is in North West Province)

Looks to me like a crossed whip snake(psammophis crucifer)

Probably Stripe bellied sand snake. P. subtaeniatus.

Im with BV here Striped Bellied Sand snake.
Aaxel the neck patterning doesn't seem to fit the P.cruicifer characteristics.

How long was it ? buy the markings i would say it was a Dwarf Whip Snake.

This looks like a typical Stripe-bellied sand snake (P. subtaeniatus) - also sometimes called Yellow-bellied sand snake. Relatively common in the North West Province.
