Nice breeding pair

Postby Bushviper » Thu Sep 14, 2006 7:54 am

A friend of mine came by to show off his new Horned adders. I tried to bribe him and then blackmail him but he would not part with them. They have already mated and he said he would lend me the male on a breeding loan.

Any idea from which region or area these critters are from??
Don’t kill it, if you are not planning to eat it.

Nice BV, if you get the opportunity to breed them, I just hope the babies stick this time. They are stunning.

From the colours I would assume some red sand dunes, which makes certain parts of the Kalahari the probable origin.
