male or female?

want to find out from you guys i am planning on getting another boa but want a male i told the guy to pop it and send pics so i could post here to make sure that it is male before making further plans

Theoretically that's not how you pop sex snakes, It looks more like someone is popping the snake to prolapse, if the snake was popped correctly this would've been a male.

That is not the way you pop sex snakes. You could be causing a prolapse. Just have it sexed by somebody who knows what they are doing and observe.

I watched a video of a Boa breeder in LA, he says for Boas under a year old to use the "bump" method, where you gently run your thumb down the underside of the tail and if you feel a "bumb" it's the hemipenes. I haven't tried this, just thought I'd share.
