We tell what we belive it is and if you don´t tell us when we have guessed right we assume all answers are wrong so my next guess would probably be a non venomous exotic snake - Natrix natrix... Or maybe it´s a paintjob on the hood of a Porche 911... Or maybe a very realistic painting mabe by a 13 years old parrot...

Sorry guys, was away for the long weekend and my connection at work is stuffed, so only got a chance t come online tonight.

Snake 5 was correct... it's not a puffie...

Hellemar was almost there... it is a Naja sp.

but......

Pythonodipsas was correct. It is a snouted cobra, and yes, it was banded.

Well done!!
