Saw this one in Kruger National Park on Saturday.

Image

He was getting killed and eventually devoured by a hungry young Dark Chanting Goshawk.

On the hunt:

Is it a Striped Skaapsteker Psammophylax tritaeniatus?

Thanks in advance.

Very nice series of images!

When I see images like this, I often realize how much we miss in nature.

So well done to you for recording this.

Stunning photos, for me sightings like this are far better than a lazy lion under a tree.
You know, you can touch a stick of dynamite, but if you touch a venomous snake it’ll turn around and bite you and kill you so fast it’s not even funny.

Exellent photos!!
I love looking for the smaller animals in the park... they are just as important as the big 5
I am the idoit that will usualy stop in the middle of the road looking at a chameleon, while everyone else is stopping around me looking for the "pack of lions"
I love God and the wonderful nature that HE created!
