Very nice Finds and Pics.
One question though, concerning the Mole Kingsnakes - Are they a recognised species, I ask because they look like Hybrids to me.

Great finds and photography! Thanx for compiling this report.

The Indigo is my favourtie find of the lot, not that the others are unremarkable. We just don't get to see Indigo's here.

Roland, the Mole Kings are are subspecies of what we call Prairie Kings. Not a hybrid at all, we just don't see them too often in RSA.

Well done on the Indigo's. Great photos.

Thanks for the replies. I thought maybe there were some animals not seen too often here. Some are not seen too often HERE! :)

Rolandslf, the mole kingsnakes found in north Florida are Lampropeltis calligaster rhombomaculatta and the south FL. mole king is L.c. occipitolineata . I should have added more text and descriptions to the photos.
The panhandle one (L.c. rhombomaculatta) will be much prettier after he sheds.

Thats a nice selection to find. The indigo is obviously the first prize I guess.
