The only problem I see is that they are being housed in an all-glass aquarium... Not the best for holding humidity and heat... Other than that they are awesome looking....

Gregg I agree that an all glass terrarium is normally not the best thing for them but in winter we cover all the sides and the top with polystyrene sheets. The heating pad is connected to a neat thermostat which keeps the cage a nice constant temperature.

The non pourous glass helps to keep the humidity up and still allow a fresh flow of air through the vents on either side.

They are outgrowing that cage and we need to put them seperately in much bigger cages this summer.

Well if they outgrow the cage and you dont have place for them, you can send em my way!

Not in your life Mongoose!!

I am busy designing new cages and once that gets done, all my snakes will be happier than pigs in mud!!

Gregg M, they are doing very well in those cages. In winter it was bit of a problem keeping the cages warm enough, but as BV said the polystyrene insulated it very well. The temperature is regulated so I have a good idea of what temps are like in the cages at all times.

Out of 10 Gaboons which the original owner had, mine are the only 2 which are alive, which means I must be doing something right.

I will be moving them into larger enclosures by the end of the year, and will defenitly take updated photos then. They are doing so well and growing at a nice steady pace.

No idea. They were not with us. They were kept by the owner and some had been sold.
