Black Headed pythons Aspidites melanocephalus!!

Black Headed pythons Aspidites melanocephalus!!

Postby michael » Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:29 am

I was very lucky to get hold of a pair of these stunning pythons. These guys are super inquisitive, and are just an absolute pleasure. They have an amazing feeding response! Being mainly reptile feeders in the wild they can get overweight in captivity quite easily because of their rodent diets. Thus these guys will be kept on a careful feeding program, so that they don’t end up overweight and unhealthy. I hope you enjoy my pictures of these amazing pythons! :D

The male is a bit smaller than his girl friend but is very keen to catch up!

I am jealous Michael, very jealous.

But well done, you deserve these snakes. Hopefully you can produce some in a couple of years.
