My Green tree python cage upgraded

My Green tree python cage upgraded

Postby deonkwagga » Tue Jun 25, 2013 8:03 am

i've upgraded my Green tree python cage for Morgana. Am hoping to get her a new male beastie in the coming months.

I'm uploading a few pics to give an idea of my setup. Humid, warm and very clean. So hopefully she'll find the atmosphere loveable also.

That is an awesome setup.

Beautiful, is she quite nippy? I watch and read quite a few things about them, mostly seen 'moody' kind :)

The cage is about 900L x 60H x 45W. Has a humidifier in. sufficient lighting, 5.0 UVB for the plants and growing in the cage.

She's very friendly, handle her almost twice weekly sometimes more, sometimes less...but shes very friendly with no issues. never bit me, loves attention to be honest, will sleep on my arm if given the chance. Only time she's agro is when she eats and about two days after that you dont even try to pic her up...she gives you that look and also isnt healty to do...

I would say shes the friendliest python i've ever seen...she'll rather shy away from people than even trying to bite. I'd fallen big time for this beauty, but am looking to get her a mate. It's just terrible with there not being a lot of breeders in the area. The only person that i really trust is Graeme Lotter when it comes to these species. So finding reputable breeders in RSA is a big story...
