This little guy was very ambitious. These pics were taken yesterday on the transkei coast an hour after i left by my father. I missed this sight by a hour. Damn

That poor toad could have hopped away with a night adder for a tail. Great observation.

If the nighty got the toad by the head Im sure he would have managed, night adders are well adapted to eating monster meals :) Once the night adder gets passed the head the fangs can be used to deflate the toads lungs to make it easier to swallow, heralds do a similar trick.
